Julia & Nick were finally able to celebrate their marriage with all of their friends and family at Oyster Ridge Barn in Santa Margarita, California. Their original date was September 5, 2020, and they couldn’t wait to start their lives together. So they had an intimate ceremony in Newport, Oregon. One year later, they had their ‘redo reception’. Filled with lots of bright colors, a bubbly bar, and Mexican food, this reception was stunning from beginning to end.
Oyster Ridge Barn is an incredible property that sits atop the hills of Santa Margarita. With vineyards sprawling in every direction, you will be taking your own photos all night long. And when you aren’t at the venue, be sure to go to their wine tasting room. Ancient Peaks is located right on the main street and has incredible wine.
Who says you can’t meet IRL (in real life) anymore?! It all started one night when Julie was having a girls’ night and Nick was out with the boys. One of her girlfriends was nursing a breakup when she spotted an old Bumble date from across the bar. “Go flirt with him!” Julie encouraged. Moments later the guy and his friends walk by and sure enough, they started chatting, leaving Julie awkwardly standing there next to his friend. The two started talking and before the girls left, Nick asked for her number so they could grab dinner that week. Luckily Nick made good on his offer and the rest is history!
