If you haven’t, let us talk about it! Undoubtedly, after Stacey and Will’s wedding, I am obsessed with it! Honestly, I wish I would have had my wedding there because it is seriously so beautiful and inspirational!

1880 Union Hotel Details for a Historic Wedding

The town was founded. Afterward, a local bank agent build the 1880 Union which was originally used as a stagecoach station. Unfortunately, it ended up burning down and was rebuilt into a Saloon and Hotel. As the years continued, it eventually evolved into the venue that it has become today!

Also, Michael Jackson and Jon Bon Jovi filmed music videos there. Similarly, it has housed many other celebrities.

The Union Hotel can host up to 300 guests for large weddings. However, if you are looking for something smaller, they have options for that as well. Seriously, the sky is the limit. Also, they mention on their website, “our in-house wedding coordinator and dedicated team of professionals will see to every detail so you’re simply celebrating.”

A California Wedding Photographer’s Experience at the 1880 Union Hotel

Stacey and Will’s wedding was incredible. Not only are they the absolute best, but the Union Hotel made it a life-changing day.

The couple picked the venue because you could rent it out for the whole weekend and have the entire space for your event. They also loved the uniqueness of the venue and all the cute little nooks. We especially had fun going into the speakeasy saloon which can be accessed from a hidden mirror door.

Weddings that take place in one location are nice for a couple of reasons. Guests don’t have to worry about transportation, you get to relax and have everything nearby. And, as a vendor, it was a seamless and easy day for us.
