Megan & Kyle finally had their dreamy wedding last weekend at Ella’s Vineyard. This stunning property features 32 acres of sprawling vineyards with the most adorable farmhouse atop the hill. The design was a fun mix of their love of travel with bright colors of honey yellow, light grey & aqua, with a pop of pinks.

A few of my favorite moments from the day. One, when Megan walked down the aisle to the classic Beatles song, Here Comes the Sun, the sun popped through the clouds. It was perfection! Two, was the sunset! There was a storm rolling in so there were clouds coming and going all day. Once the sun dropped the sky lit up in shades of pink and purple. As everyone was enjoying dinner, they were getting spoiled with an incredible sunset.

How They Met

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, also known as Chico State University, Kyle and Megan had their first meeting at a friend’s theme party in the Fall of 2013. They got to know each other at their friend’s game night. Megan floored Kyle with her knowledge of Lord of the Rings and how she went to the midnight premieres. To him, it was love at first-midnight screening. Megan thought it was adorable how competitive and passionate towards board games he was. Kyle asked her out on a cold December night during a Snow Pants or No Pants party to go get ice cream.

How he Proposed

After dating for 5 years, Kyle whisked Megan away to Avila Beach for a romantic anniversary weekend in December. They spent Saturday exploring beautiful Cambria and eating all of the fresh cookies and tacos (shoutout to you Boni’s!). When they came back to the inn they were staying at, Kyle popped out of the car and proposed on the beach in Avila because he just couldn’t wait any longer. Megan said yes!
