Taylor & Chase got married at Loma Grande Ranch tucked in the hillside in San Luis Obispo, California. Due to the pandemic, they had to change their wedding venue just a few short months before the big day. But what a great spot they ended up with!!

They wanted to get to their party sooner rather than later. So we did all of their bridal party and family photos before the ceremony. This is a great option for two reasons. One, if you want to be a part of your cocktail hour. Two, if you want a longer reception with more time for dancing or mingling. When you have a larger guest count, this helps a lot!

Looking back, there were so many fun moments throughout the day. A few of my favorites were: the grandparents dancing to modern hip-hop, the sister of the bride sobbing during the first look with her dad, the family sneaking a glance during their first look, and the sweetest toast from Chase’s mom and dad.

And here is why they picked San Luis Obispo to get married:

San Luis Obispo holds a very special place in our hearts. It is where we met while attending Cal Poly. Late this October, we traveled down to visit friends and take a walk down memory lane. On our trip, we stopped at one of our favorite places, the beach where we told each other “I Love You” for the first time. While sitting on this little beach we got up to walk down to the water, and Taylor turned around to find Chase on one knee. Taylor of course said “YES,” and we were engaged!
