Annie & Scott are married after patiently waiting to host their event and the Casitas Estate in Arroyo Grande is the perfect spot. Nestled atop a hillside in Arroyo Grande, this estate provides beautiful views in every direction. I appreciated this bold color palette of navy against all the summer pops of color. This wedding was very special for a few reasons. One, Scott sang and played guitar to a song he wrote for Annie. Yes, we were all in tears. Then there was an epic best men toast that included a care bear onesie. Yes, you read that right. And last was the epic lightsaber battle at the end of the night.
They Were Always Meant To Be
A Successful Swipe Story
Scott and Annie met on February 22, 2019, and instantly had the feeling this was something special. What began as a Tinder swipe quickly turned into texting and a plan to meet for drinks. As soon as their eyes met that night, they both felt the connection and have been inseparable ever since.
The afternoon following their first date, Annie went over to Scott’s house. He tried to act nonchalant about the incredible view, just as she “forgot” she was wearing a Cal Poly Cheerleading jacket. They were both thoroughly impressed. Fortunately, when Annie came over that day, Scott asked to take a selfie together. He had amazing foresight because they both love looking back now on that first photo.
From the beginning, Annie and Scott knew where they were heading, but they also knew that their friends and family wanted them to be cautious. They deliberately chose to slow down and give the people who love them the chance to see what they had. Their mantra was to allow the world to catch up to them. Which it eventually has.
