Our 2019 wedding season kicked off during a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Santa Maria, California, at the Radisson Hotel. It was a clear and warm day in the mid-70s in January! Just perfect weather to tie the knot on the Central Coast! And the moment I chatted with Joey on the phone, I knew we were going to connect! Her and Mason are such sweet souls down to the core, and you could feel all the love from their family members and friends. So many hugs and handkerchiefs were used to wipe away those happy tears. From seeing her girls after she got in her dress, to walking down the aisle, to her father/daughter dance, happy tears were shed throughout the day. But let’s wind back to the beginning. Their story started just over six years ago and it was love at first sight from Joey’s point of view.

She said, “I knew Mason was going to be the man I would marry the second I saw him. Our first official date was a breakfast date at Kay’s Country Kitchen. When we were done, I invited him to go with me to my nephew’s basketball game. My whole family was at the game, so he met everyone right away. We hung out just about every day after that, and on January 26th we went on a date to Rosa’s in Pismo. We shared a white chocolate brownie and he asked me to be his girlfriend. So every year for the last 5 years we’ve gone to Rosa’s to share a white chocolate brownie. But for our 6th anniversary we won’t be able to go to Rosa’s.. we’ll be a little busy AT OUR WEDDING!!!”
