Mikaila & David were two naturals in front of the camera and a true joy to capture for their engagement photos in Montana De Oro. My photographer’s heart was grinning from ear to ear after being on leave during the current pandemic. San Luis Obispo holds a special place in their hearts as they both graduated from Cal Poly. And they will later tie the knot in Paso Robles at the gorgeous Fallen Oaks Estate. They picked a special spot for their engagement photos. During his time at Cal Poly, David and his buddies would escape to a dune in Montana De Oro State Park. It is a bit secluded, has a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean, and a new location I had never been to. Needless to say, I will be coming back to this spot. We then finished up their session at the picturesque Spooner’s Cove. If you ever want to get lost for a day and wander in nature, go here. Every time I feel renewed.
