Molly and Trent tied the knot in their dear friend’s backyard. A place that is very special to the couple as this backyard is where they go to church every week. Where these two met. And where their friends and family watched their relationship flourish. My favorite part of the day was when Molly walked down the aisle and Trent shed multiple happy tears. Their ceremony was very sweet with piano playing, hymns sung, and their two pastors giving heartfelt comments about how to have a successful marriage. Everyone came together to create a special day for these two. You truly felt the love and care for them from all of their friends and families. A wonderful backyard wedding to kick off a fun-filled summer.

If you are wanting to maximize the time you spend together with your new spouse on your wedding day, here are a few tips that Molly and Trent did.

Do a First Look

They actually did a first look the week prior at a fun location out of town! But this allowed us to do their bridal party and family photos before the ceremony. It allowed them to mingle during their ‘cocktail hour’ and talk with their guests.

Stick with your person thoroughout the whole day

They did a great job with this!! It is YOUR wedding day as a couple. Enjoy it all, together. Say hi to friends together.

Escape for Sunset Photos

They acutally had their send-off right before sunset photos. This was great because they wrapped up the evening with portraits of the two of them. Then could go to their hotel and soak in the day together without being exhausted. I know not everyone wants to end their reception before dark. But I thought it was great they got more intimate time together as a couple.
