Lesli and Chris were all giggles during their engagement session at the Monarch Butterfly Grove in Pismo Beach. I was so excited to not only meet these two but also to snuggle their new adorable husky puppy, Beau. I mean, can you blame me? Chris is a firefighter for San Diego County. Beau was dropped off at the fire station when he was 8 weeks old and Chris couldn’t say no. So these two became three overnight. Beau will also be at their wedding later this year, and I know he will steal the show!
I always enjoy going to this spot in Pismo Beach because the lighting through the trees is always flattering. There is also plenty of space that is safe for pets and kids. Plus, we can get a lot of variety with the beach being a quick ten minute walk!
Their Story
Lesli & Chris met on Hinged back in Jan of 2020. She is a teacher. And he has been a firefighter for over a decade. They hit it off right away and have been inseparable ever since. To unwind, they enjoy taking long walks on the beach and spending time with Beau exploring new places together.
They are having their fall wedding at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort in the heart of Paso Robles. It is going to be remarkable!
Tips for bringing your Pup:
- Bring a nice leash/collar. Nothing neon for photos. Leather is a great option! Or a cute bow tie like Beau has!
- Please have some treats in a small container or you can bring a small toy they are obsessed with. This helps with attention as public places have lots of distractions.
- Be patient. These fur pups will have a mind of their own.
- I will likely make funny noises and movements to help get their attention.
