2023 Wedding Trends are going to be better than any of us could even imagine!
As a California Wedding Photographer, I have to say that I am pretty excited! Last year gave us a quick sneak peek of what is to come. Let me be the first to tell you, these up-and-coming trends are gonna be just so good!
Ready to deep dive with me?!
If the pandemic taught us anything, it was that couples have the ability to make their weddings entirely their own under any circumstances. In 2023, couples are starting to really focus on intentionality and authenticity.
This means there will be a noticeable shift away from the “typical” wedding look and feel.
Instead, couples are wanting to step outside of the ‘norm’ as it relates to wedding traditions and do whatever feels more like them.
With this one, I want you to think of curves, raised platforms, and the use of fun pops of color. Although most ceremonies tend to have the same general feel, couples are going to start taking their wedding aisles up a notch.
This is a 2023 wedding trend that I can get behind wholeheartedly. I am so excited to see couples start savoring every last drop of their wedding day,
I don’t know about you, but I have seen one too many couples lose their patience with the inconvenience of their huge wedding bouquets. Whether from the weight or just the awkward positioning, big bouquets seem to be on their way out. Instead, smaller ones are about to take the world by storm.
Truly, I don’t think that white dresses will ever be out of style. They are simply a classic. However, couples are starting to incorporate floral, baby blues, and soft pinks into their wedding day look… If they aren’t doing it for themselves, then the wedding party is sure to have some color!
Whether it is for the resting silk florals, repurposing ceremony pieces at the receptions, using fewer paper goods, or having lab-grown diamonds, sustainability is becoming a huge necessity. Honestly, as a society, we should be thanking our lucky stars for this to be one of the 2023 wedding trends.
The next big thing is spending time together in the morning before getting ready. Instead of avoiding each other, I want you to picture getting up and having coffee or breakfast with your partner. Chat about you’re feeling, and soak them in before the business of the day begins. It is MAGICAL.
