We could stare at this dreamy SLO Engagement session forever.

We had a beautiful afternoon at Thousand Hills Ranch for Linsday & Jake’s engagement session. It made me so excited for their New Year’s Eve wedding reception that will be held at this same location.

We cannot wait to close out the year with them! It is going to be one heck of a party!

SEARCHING FOR THE BEST SLO ENGAGEMENT SESSION LOCATION?

We know that it can be a challenge to figure out where to take your engagement photos. Your engagement session should be a great experience. In fact, that concept is super important to us! So here are some questions we ask our couples to help narrow it down.

Seven questions for your AND your significant other to answer

  1. Do you have a certain time or season you are wanting to have your e-session? We can do your session as soon as possible or wait until a certain season of the year. All we recommend is that we shoot your session no later than 3 months before your wedding!
  2. Do you have any certain location preferences in mind? (If not, no worries at all, we have plenty of great spots as options!)
  3. Are there any meaningful props or themes that you wanted to be incorporated into your shoot? (sports, something you like to do together, etc.)
  4. What are the top 3 things you do as a couple?
  5. Do you have special access to a special venue that people do not normally have access to? For example an airport, stadium, restaurant, rooftop, etc.
  6. Are there any engagements on our blog that you love? Pay special attention to the scene, feel, and mood – not the couple’s faces or wardrobe.
  7. Do you have any crazy ideas for your engagement session? Anything goes!!

Our Approach:

Have fun. Be silly. Explore being comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Get loose. Interact with your partner. Play games. Tell Secrets. And share lots of kisses!
